mom and i had a little lunch at Pimm's cafe (outside in the sunshine!) this afternoon. ok, so it was just a salad, but my god what a salad. basil, mint, three kinds of lettuce, pruscuito (more specifically parma), fresh goats cheese (you know how i feel about that stuff), tomatoes, pine nuts and figs with a very light cucumber cream dressing. i adore the food here…fresh, REAL and actually pretty easy to duplicate. i know three chefs just off hand and am learning more about good food everyday. i should find a cooking class or something…i did find that Introduction to the World of French Cheeses weekend seminar…..
i'm not kidding.
