another flight back to Boston, yet another to Chicago for a few days and then a short drive up to the family cottage in Door County, Wisconsin. it's hard to convince folks here that indeed, though the Riviera is lovely, the (crowded) local beaches ain't got nothin' on good ol' Wisconsin! of course, being usable eight months of the year versus three is one concession i must make to the Cote d'Azure.
