it's so elusive, so simple in concept and yet can become so complicated in practice. it's a logistical nightmare, a colossal headache, an 'asking for trouble' situation. a burden to our friends and family. and yet when we need one, as most of us will do at least once in our lifetime, we beg, cajole, and finagle to assure receiving one.
